Landlords Portal Registration Information

Prerequisite

WHEDA must have an email on file for any owner/manager/landlord who wants to register a user account. If you are unsure if your email is already on file, please email HCVprogram@wheda.com to confirm.

Steps

  1. Click the aqua colored Landlord Portal link in the left column on this page under "Portal Login"
  2. Optional: Bookmark or save the resulting page in your favorites for easy future access
  3. Once the page loads, click: Need a New User Account? Register
  4. Enter the last 4 digits of your Federal Tax ID
    (or SSN if an individual)
  5. Enter Owner Name exactly as WHEDA has it in database
    (if unsure of the Owner Name, email HCVprogram@wheda.com to confirm)
  6. Enter Email
  7. Click Verify
  8. If Pink Error message appears in top right: review, update and Verify the entry
    1. If unsuccessful, email HCVprogram@wheda.com to confirm info
    2. If message says "You have reached the maximum allowed logins for your account. To request additional logins, please call the Call Center." then email HCVprogram@wheda.com and share error so they can increase the Number of Registrations Allowed.
  9. If the message "The Tax ID Provided is Valid. Please click on Continue to register." appears, click Continue
  10. Review Registered Accounts info; click Confirm
    1. If some of the data needs updating, you will be able to Edit once you are fully logged in – click account on top right, then Profile from dropdown; update info, then Save
  11. On Sign Up screen:
    1. Enter your own email and a password (you create)
    2. Check "Agree to Terms" box
    3. Select Sign Up at bottom

  6. Set your Communication Preferences under Contact Info so you will get texts, emails, or both -- alerting you when you need to Login to the portal to see updates
